LIMITED WARRANTY and TERMS OF USE


Limited Product Warranty
This limited warranty of the LWS Water Appliance product purchased pursuant to these terms and conditions is a one-year limited warranty on parts only, originating from the date of installation.

When installed in accordance with LWS specifications, the limited warranty covers all parts needed to repair any item that proves to be defective in material, workmanship, or factory preparation.

Labor, freight/ transportation, and installation costs are not covered.    

The Limited Warranty shall only cover the Stage 3 Membrane Elements, pump, membrane housings, filter cannisters, frame, bypass valve assembly, display, sensors, manifolds and drain assembly. All of which shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this limited warranty.

This limited warranty is conditioned upon the equipment being maintained by you according to the manufacturer instructions, including replacement of filters, adding product as needed for proper function of system, and other components, and regular sanitary maintenance of system.

The warranty of the Stage 3 Membrane Elements does not include damage due to freezing and /or fouling due to bacteria or inlet water over system specifications.
The Stage One filter, Stage 2 filter and Stage 4 mineralization cartridge (sold separately) service life is dependent on specific water conditions and usage.

The limited warranty does not include damage to your system due to alteration, abuse, misuse or neglect; improper maintenance of system (i.e. not replacing filters or media on time) will be considered “neglect”; pressure outside of specifications, influent water outside of specifications; and/or power surges.

Damage as a result thereof shall void the limited warranty in its entirety.

Further, LWS assumes no liability and extends no warranties, express or implied, for the use of this product on a non-potable water source.
 
 TRANSFER OF WARRANTY

If you move, you can take your LWS Water appliance with you. In order to continue the limited warranty, the removal and installation of the equipment must be done by an authorized LWS representative or Dealer.

For the transfer of your limited warranty to a new homeowner at the original installed location, please contact LWS.
